🏈 Mike Tomlin explained why playing in Ireland is significant to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
🏈 Cam Heyward worked on his craft as a Dublin City Tour Guide.
🏈 Cam Heyward is featured in a new commercial for GO Laurel Highlands. Heyward talks about all the things to do in the Laurel Highlands, which is not far from where the Steelers have their training camp at St. Vincent College.
🏈 The Steelers’ entire 2025 NFL Schedule will be released at 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
🏈 The Steelers will travel 15,062 miles this season, which ranks as the ninth-fewest in the league.
🏈 Field Yates of ESPN wouldn’t be shocked if Kaleb Johnson leads the Steelers in carries.
“Jaylen Warren will of course play a useful role for Pittsburgh, but offensive coordinator Arthur Smith has a well-established affinity for bigger, bruising backs like Johnson. It won’t surprise me at all if he leads Pittsburgh in carries this season,” Yates wrote.
🏈 Legendary ESPN anchor Chris Berman, who joined the network just after its September 7, 1979, launch, has extended his contract. In 2029, he will become ESPN’s first employee to celebrate his 50th anniversary with the network.
🏈 Steelers safety Juan Thornhill posted on X, “Can’t wait !!! This shit is Personal.” Thornhill made the post shortly after the Cleveland Browns signed former Steelers safety Damontae Kazee, so it could be a message to his former team. Thornhill played the last two seasons with the Browns.
🏈 Pro Football Focus tabbed Steelers linebacker Payton Wilson as a breakout candidate in 2025.
“Wilson fell in the 2024 NFL Draft because of injury concerns, though he played an entire season as a rookie, earning solid grades for the position, including a 77.3 coverage grade that ranked tied for sixth at the position with fellow rookie Edgerrin Cooper. Wilson’s Year 1 role was that of a rotational piece in Pittsburgh’s defense, playing just over 500 defensive snaps. Following Elandon Roberts‘ departure and considering Patrick Queen‘s struggles, Wilson should absorb a larger role in Year 2,” Jonathan Macri of PFF wrote.
